 REPAIR SERVICE


Melinda McCoy-Miller provides expert maintenance and repairs on all makes and models of flutes.  Please call Melinda at 973-579-5815 to make an appointment.  See pricing below.

Specific Repairs
$55 per hour plus parts with a $30 minimum

Clean Oil and Adjust (COA)
Cleaning without pin removal, adjustments, oiling
  • Student flutes -$95  
  • Professional flutes - $175


Sending Your Flute Via UPS or USPS
If you live a distance away, I recommend using USPS Priority Mail and Delivery Confirmation to send flutes. UPS is also a way to send your instrument. Find a box that is 2” all round larger than your flute and use bubble wrap to secure it. If your instrument is valued more than $1000, send it Registered Mail from the USPS for extra security.




 SUMMER LESSON PROGRAM
 FOR NEW STUDENTS

10 WEEKS REGULARLY AT $250

NOW - $200 if paid in full at the first lesson 

OR $25 PER 1/2 HOUR LESSON AND $45 PER 1 HOUR LESSON
 

Beginners through College and Advanced Adult
 

Includes preparation for County, Area, and Region ensembles as well as college audition preparation, guidance and recommendation.




 RENTAL PROGRAM

Rentals :   September through June (school year)   $125
                    Summer $50

                    Used instruments -- straight rental (no purchase option) includes any maintenance needed
                    New instruments available for purchase from $589


 ABOUT

Melinda McCoy-Miller received her Bachelor of Music and Master of Music Degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied flute with Thomas Nyfenger and Harold Bennett.  With majors in performance on flute and music education, she taught instrumental music in the Port Washington, NY school district prior to relocating to Sussex County.  With more than thirty-five years of flute instruction experience behind her, Melinda is formerly an adjunct member of the Blair Academy teaching staff as well as flute professor at the County College of Morris. She currently performs and is on the board of the New Sussex Symphony, the Music Foundation of Sussex County, and the Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council.  Melinda is also very well known as an adjudicator for many competitions/honors band auditions.
